Summer Lovin Read-a-Thon Day 4: Tears on My Pillow

What to do: Share a quote from your current read or tell us about a book that really pulled on your heart strings. What was it about that book/quote that made you cry?

Yes. Be quite. I know it's overused, but I never, never, ever cry. No, I did not cry during Titanic. All my friends did, but I just sat there staring at the screen. You jump I jump, remember. Yes I love the movie, I'd just rather be reading...though I guess all my friends are movie people...

So where was I? Oh, yes. A book that ripped my heart out then tossed it into a fire then continued to roast marshmallows over it singing happy songs. This particular book would be The Fault in Our Stars by none other than John Green. You, sir, are a monster. A monster who can write very well and does really amusing vlogs.
Do I really need to put a cover? Everyone knows it when they see it. The books is so well known. Here is how I felt reading it:

Does this explain everything properly? No? Yes. Yes it does. Now for a sob-worthy quote.....

Okay
Some infinities are bigger than other infinities
My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations
I lit up like a Christmas tree, Hazel Grace

Thinking about the ending makes me want to cry. Sob. Cry. Sob. Cannot breathe. Too many feels.
Why did this book break my heart? The ending was all too real. The emotions are raw and the way its worded is all too believable and perfect.

    1. xD Totally understandable! I borrowed some books from my friend about a month ago...and I still haven't given them back...or read them for that matter. I've been too busy reading book from author requests and blog tours xD

  2. I get it, ME TOO! I don't really cry during movies ever. People always say "We'll what about when watching Titanic?" And I'm just like "What about it??" I really do need to read The Fault In Our Stars. I have it in my bookshelf but like with Easy apparently a proper emotional state is necessary for it! I'll tackle it soon enough but sadly not yet. :(. Great quote! :)

    1. I'm pretty sure my friends think I never cry...
I was at the movies watching it with one of my friends and she was there sobbing while I was just sitting there. Awkward much? Thanks!!

  3. I am really curious with The Fault in our stars and I am itching to read it. But whenever I think that of its genre, I start having cold feet. I am a very emotional person and I don't think I'm ready to be in an emotional turmoil right now. :D
